OK, not a new idea, but NME have blogged about a YouTube spoof, where someone has overdubbed a live performance to make them sound like some kind of school band.  Well, it made me laugh…. Check it out

Heavy metal grandads, and former haters of all things ‘interweb’, Metallica, appear to be using YouTube to drive their fans back to their own website, Metallica.com. All video’s hosted on the bands official YouTube channel now feature the line ‘If you would like to see this video hassle free go to Metallica.com’.
